The subtitle of this book is important: A Garland of Poems, Prayers and Meditations on Love

I thought this was a book of poetry but discovered much prose. There is some poetry interspersed throughout.

The author reflects on the relationship she has with Govinda (Krishna) through his holy names, her prayers to him, dreams, and different experiences. This is a very heartfelt, touching offering of personal meditations.

Those who may like the book will probably be familiar with bhakti and have a developed affection for the path and the sentiments aroused – perhaps even having personal experience of the bhakti path.

Though there are some gems of lines in the poetry, overall, the writing of the poetry lacks technical expertise.

This appears to be a self-published book and therefore we find some odd design decisions like the size of the titles of the entries and a cover that is designed by a novice.
