The subtitle of this book “The Hidden Treasure” speaks to not just the Gita, but strongly refers to this particular translation of the Gita.

There isn’t a lot of commentary, so first-time readers of the Gita may not understand everything. However, this is the sweetest translation of the Gita I have ever read.

The author knows the subjects and *feels* for the topic and the speaker, Sri Krishna, and his friend Arjuna. I felt as though as I was standing on the chariot with Arjuna hearing Sri Krishna and getting to know him personally, in an intimate, very endearing way. I plan on reading this many more times. The experience of knowing Krishna’s heart was palpable and often brought tears to my eyes. This is a “hidden” translation that is not to be missed.
